Okay so, wanted to quickly tell you about something which, I THINK, may've gotten delayed because I believe I recall seeing a couple of months or so ago being set to release (and either it did actually get delayed or the actual release date was just that far out). In any case, now set to release in just a few weeks from now is the latest project from the immortal Akae Beka alongside the flaming Zion High Productions and the Zion I Kings, an EP by the name of "Glory", featuring four original tunes with their dubs. Similar (identical) works have come from both Glen Washington ("JAH Children") and Little Roy ("Woke Up") and now, WONDERFULLY, Vaughn Benjamin is up next.
The four tracks feature the accompanying work of four big artists including current Reggae Grammy holder, Kabaka Pyramid, Micah Sherman, Mykal Rose and..... someone.... someone named Reemah... on a song named 'Still Small Voice'.... hmmm.
Yep! 'Glory" has a combination between Vaughn Benjamin & Reemah! DAMN! I've actually heard quite a bit of this already (because JunoDownload puts up damn near entire songs as 'samples' and they always have) and it appears the be the heights of genius that you would imagine on such a pairing. Still, I'm well looking forward to hearing the full project as I'm sure you are and you can join me in listening as Akae Beka, Zion High Productions and the Zion I Kings bring forth "Glory" on on the 11th of August.
