Ricky T just wrapped up OECS Soca Monarch 2010 for (I THINK) the third year in a row. The competition was decent actually. Skinny Fabulous did a much abridged version of his SVG performance (with a SHITTY SHITTY band) and also doing good was reigning Grenada Soca Monarch Mr. Killa (alongside Pringles) with a CRAZY version of 'De Fence'. I thought they should've taken the crown (as they essentially got the crowd to FLATTEN the fence and then play building blocks with it all around the park), but - Unsurprisingly, the two top spots go to who? Ricky T and DJ HP. And if you're unfamiliar, I already know what you're thinking and you are correct - Yes, it did take place in Mindoo Phillip Park in St. Lucia. Lucians going one and two, no surprise none at all. So biggup Ricky T, congratulations, and here's his tune, 'Cyah Stop It'.P.S. Definitely expecting HP to take the Road this year in Lucia now.
