Well damn. That didn't take very long did it??? Last time out we told you about a pair of new singles from two of our longtime favourites, Queen Omega and Cali P. The former had a forthcoming project, an EP called 'Stars Align', virtually set in stone to be releasing sometime later this year, while we weren't too sure about Cali P's plan for his tune, 'Heartbreaker'. Well as it turns out, Cali P's plans were even more imminent than those of the Queen as the chanter is now set to deliver a brand new album of his own.... in like two weeks, "Vizion". As you may've (should've) suspected, the incoming release comes not only courtesy of the same label behind the latest single, but the same one, also, with whom Cali P has most frequently been linked over the past couple of years or so, LowLow Records and producer, Teka.

The album, his fourth by my count (there was also an outstanding EP a few years back by the name of "Healing Of The Nation") and his first in the half decade since "i Thoughts" ["Wi stepping, wi fighting, wi working so hard. Always haffi have food inna di yard!"] may seem quite familiar to more constant listeners as a couple of years ago, LowLow Records released two installments of four-tracked EP's, also called "Vizion". Those eight selections are present on this album as are singles release in the time since, 'Hit Like Gunshot', 'Rise Up & Shine' and, of course, 'Heartbreaker'. Which means that the album will also feature two songs (if my math is correct) (no chance it is) (it's probably like eight or something like that) that at least I have never heard before. Both of the EP's released while we were on hiatus, so I'm damn looking forward to diving into the full project.

Which is exactly what I will do -- and you are welcome to join me -- on the 24th of September when Cali P's new album, "Vizion", releases.
